Simple MySQL programming in Java is now possible! Take a look at the Simple MySQL Java Library, designed to make MySQL Database access very similar to PHP.
This is an extremely simple implementation, no persistence, no special query language. Just direct access to you MySQL database in Java using a familiar PHP-like interface.
The Open Source software site is up, expect more free software very soon.

You may also want to kindly send a note to your browser vendor requesting that they install the TDMC/Pacy World, LLC. root CA by default so that you (and others) no longer have to do it manually.
